A multimedia music project combining AI-assisted music production, visual art, and video creation.
AI generated logo design for Abyssal Ink Records, establishing the visual foundation for this experimental music project.
The music creation process began with UDIO AI to establish basic song structures and melodies. From there, I enhanced each track by incorporating my own instruments, adding layers of guitars, bass, and synthesizers. I personally wrote all the lyrics for both albums, mixing and mastering the final tracks to achieve the desired gothic rock sound.
You may notice a stark contrast between the two album covers - while the materials shown in this portfolio primarily relate to Goth Rock Vol.1 and its dark aesthetic, the second album "Bumper Cars and other Stories" intentionally features a warmer, more colorful approach to reflect its different musical direction and themes.
A series of images initially generated using ComfyUI and custom-trained LORAs, combining classic 80s goth rock aesthetics with AI technology. The process involved training on both vintage band photos and personal images to create unique base visuals. Each image was then extensively refined in Photoshop to add custom details, enhance textures, and correct any AI-generated artifacts, resulting in polished, professional artwork.
For these promotional reels, I first generated the base images using ComfyUI with models like Flux, enhanced by custom-trained LORAs. The dynamic animations were created using Kling AI, and the final editing was done in Adobe After Effects to create engaging lyric videos that capture the gothic aesthetic of the project.
This music video showcases the full potential of AI-assisted video creation. Each scene was carefully crafted in ComfyUI using the Flux model along with custom-trained LORAs. The fluid animations were generated using Kling AI, and the final composition and editing were done in Adobe Premiere to create a cohesive visual narrative that complements the music.
